Recycling Kiosk

Project Description:

Placed in convenient locations on campus, the recycling kiosk is a great way to earn rewards at local businesses on Green Street while also going green. You simply place your recyclables into the kiosk, log in and earn credit! The more you recycle the more credit you receive. Once you have the proper amount of credit, you can redeem it for discounts at campus locations. The computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse are all E-waste. This kiosk will be placed in the Illinois Street Residence Halls starting Monday April 20th for a pilot run including data collection. In the future we hope to see recycling kiosks placed at convenient locations across the campus.
